11TH ANNUAL GIVING TREE

CHRISTMAS WITH KARLA ROMERO "She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy." Proverbs 31:20

We thank all of our volunteers and sponsors for making this event such a huge success. We provided 500 less fortunate families with a multicultural Christmas celebration on live tv. Our guests enjoyed delicious multicultural food, live music, and presents for free.

The children danced to live music by the Black Friday band as they waited in line for gifts. The Youth Ambassadors were great young leaders, showing by example, the importance of giving back to the community. Our volunteer programs builds self estem through accomplishment and community service. Youth Ambassadors are excellent peer leaders.

Two of our Youth Ambassadors received scholarships to John Casablanca modeling and tallent school in Newton MA. Monica Joseph and Krystal Giannette were awarded their scholarships, valued at $2,500 each, for their outstanding outreach and education initiative spreading awareness about child abuse and neglect in MA

Families were greatful to get help this Christmas, in such turbulant economic times. Each person had a different story of hardship, joblesness, domestic violence, child abuse, homelessness, incarcerated parents, but for 2 hours, those troubles melted away. We put smiles on the faces of children who do not have much to smile about. The food was overflowing, flowers and wreathes perfumed the air, music moved the spirit to dance, and all was well in the world for just 2 hours.

We will spend Christmas Eve giving groceries to needy families and wish you all a Joyous Christmas.
